Biden Risks Life and Limb to Praise Pork Project

Andrew Malcolm, who is rapidly becoming one of my favorite bloggers, has the best post headline I’ve seen in a week.

Vice President Joe Biden survives visit to Wilimington Amtrak station

Of course, I’m glad he didn’t contract Captain Porky, or whatever the heck we’re calling this flu bug. I am distressed, though, that he was there ignoring the urgent advice he gave his family and the entire country on national television. I suppose, though, that no sacrifice is too big to praise some Presidential pork ladled out to the train-riding masses.

Still, we ought to put him in a Presidential medal, just to make sure his noble sacrifice is acknowledged properly.
