Apparently, the Administration Has Not Heard of Photoshop (or Global Warming)
It is inconceivable to me that no one in authority thought it would be a better idea to notify the Mayor’s office instead of some mid-level bureaucrat in City Hall. The White House Military Office, run by a guy whose last job was to steer IndyMac into disaster and a fraud investigation, had apologized, but unless that apology is attached to a sheaf of resignations, it means absolutely ducksquat.
Heads have got to roll on this one. There is absolutely no good excuse for scaring the bejeezus out of an entire city and bringing Manhattan to a grinding halt just to get a pretty picture. We have computer software that does simply amazing things with photographs these days.
I do have one other question, in light of this dire comment from our Secretary of State. Exactly how many tons of CO2 did those two jet airplanes spew into the atmosphere during the flight? Seems to me that if climate change is a “clear and present danger to our world”, then perhaps the administration ought to act like it.

In related news, Obama intends to let people know he’s finally reversing Republican economic mismanagement, by sending them envelopes filled with unidentified white powder, intended to symbolize the 80s coke & junk bonds economy.
Because, you know, he’s so darned smart ‘n shit.
