Shut Up and Save the Earth, You Evil American!
Today is Earth Day (and Lenin’s Birthday, which I don’t see as a particular coincidence as well as the birthday of St. Francis of Assisi, which is more what I think our enviro-happy friends intended for the day) which means that we will again be harangued with lectured from our betters about what a bunch of Earth-raping fatties we all are and how we’d be much better off if we dumped the old, busted religion we have to join their cult.
Pundit and Pundette has a good roundup of Earth Day links, from both sides of the planet-hugging sphere. David Harsanyi’s column this week is also Earth Day-themed. Alternately, you could take these folks’ recommendation and spay or neuter a poor foreigner.
I think we should rename this week as Untended Consequences Week, to celebrate all the effects our well-intentioned but panic-driven laws have had on our planet and our lives.
