Beware the Knife in the Ribs, Conservatives.
Charles Johnson’s criticisms would carry some weight if they were based on a solid foundation but they aren’t so they don’t.
Maybe he needs to read my blog before he jumps on the conservabash bandwagon with his new leftist buddy. Or at least treat the word of a Democratic apparatchik with some skepticism instead of reflexively harrumphing over the takeover of the Republican boys’ club by the barbarian hordes.
I do find his impulse to dash off a dismissive post instead of investigating Cohen’s claims interesting. It makes me wonder if he’s really interested in going head-on with the left or if he’s going to be one of the folks stabbing the real fighters in the back. From the tenor of this post, I’d say we conservatives had better watch our backs.

If anything, Charles goes too easy on Beck; that whole bit about him debunking the FEMA concentration camps only came about because he first claimed he couldn't debunk them.
It's fine to oppose Obama; the spending is ridiculous. But I ain't marching in any parade that has Glenn Beck out in front.
He didn't truly claim that he couldn't because he hadn't actually tried. He had done some initial research, which led to his full attempt.
Charles is wrong about Beck because Charles is wrong about the initial assertions. You can't make a good point with bad information. It's dishonest.
They targeted Rush, they've targeted Hannity, they've targeted Malkin – they _haven't_ targeted Charles. Maybe there's a reason…!
