So, Who Are the Plumbers in this Administration?

Is Barack Obama the most politically paranoid President since Richard Nixon? The President’s enemies list, populated by members of his own party, sure sounds familiar. And it looks like he has his political dirty tricks crew already in place, too. Maybe we should be checking to see if any recent administration hires have experience with breaking and entering.

It’s not like I’m terribly surprised. If you were as woefully incompetent at your job as our President, and you’re watching all your approval ratings plummet faster than Wile E. Coyote with an armful of anvil, even the faintest glimmer of dissent might just look a lot like a threat to what little personal authority you have.

Well, not you. If you found yourself in a job you couldn’t handle and you were getting farther and farther over your head every day, you’d probably resign and find another job. You’d learn from the mistake and perhaps take another run at the job when you’d gotten more skill and experience.

Of course, you probably wouldn’t decide that your first job of any real experience should be as leader of the free world.
