A Missile Launch? Quick, Deploy the Committee!

Well that ought to fix their little red wagons.

LONDON (Reuters) – The United States will respond to any North Korean missile launch by raising the matter in the U.N. Security Council, a U.S. official said on Wednesday.

I have to imagine that the Dear Leader is just quaking in his tiny, tiny boots at the thought that the United Nations might convene a panel to discuss the preparations to convene another panel to discuss the Nork missile launch!

Just as a note, a missile launched from North Korea, tipped with a nuclear warhead, will take less than 33 minutes to strike the United States and half that to strike Japan. I don’t imagine the UN can move quite that quickly, which is why you don’t oppose missiles with bureaucrats.

  1. You could if you launched the bureaucrats to intercept the missiles!

Ah, true. Now we need to know how many bureaucrats it would take to destroy one long-range Nork missile.

I suggest many months of experimentation. With catapults.

What? There is no time for practice. Launch them all & pray for a strike!
