Paris Risks Brawl for Music
Can I condemn Paris Hilton’s boyfriend for taking a poke at the bodyguard of a DJ who was playing craptastic techno music?
I cannot. In fact, I think he was doing the world a service. If club DJs around the world knew that playing awful music could earn them a punch in the face, we’d be hearing much better music in our dance clubs.
Someone has to stand up against the purveyors of the antiseptic ear-swill no amount of the Love Drug can improve. Today, whichever pretty boy Paris is wearing on her arm this month struck a blow for music-lovers everywhere. Who will put down their cheap club beer and take a stand tomorrow?
