Putting the Bailout Numbers in Perspective

If you’re having some trouble wrapping your head around all the big numbers that have been throw around the past couple of months, I have some help for you.

Duane Lester breaks out his calculator and a can of his favorite soft drink and finds that the government is looting our fridges. He’s going to have an awfully dry throat for the next few years at this rate.

Meanwhile, Randall Munroe shows how the MSM could be more honest about reporting some bailout numbers. You must admit that if the news broadcasts told the story the second way, the AIG story would look a lot different. His analogy is pretty good, too.
