This, Folks, is What Blog-Fu is All About
I know I link my friend Stacy McCain a lot, but there’s a good reason. He’s an outstanding blogger. He has assembled unto himself a group of younglings — S. Logan, Monique Stuart, and Cynthia Yockey — and is teaching them the Rules of Blog-Fu. You can’t argue with the man’s success since all three of them have bagged the coveted Instalanche within their first three months. It took me a couple of years to get my first, so you know he’s teaching them well.
Stacy also pays homage to the veteran bloggers to whom attention must be paid — Dan Riehl, Moe Lane, Little Miss Attilla, along with the larger lights of the blogosphere whose names shine eternally upon us and make straight our words in the day time and the night.
If you doubt, you have only to read today’s masterwork wherein he gives due to all worthies and yet reminds us that blogging, though fun, is not free. So if you have a ten spot, drop it in the man’s tip jar.
He has mouths to feed and there’s no Federal bailout coming his way.
Also, his advice here is pretty darned good, too.
