Loose Lips Sink Budgets!
Huh. I thought this was going to be the Administration of Transparency and Openness.
The Obama administration has directed defense officials to sign a pledge stating they will not share 2010 budget data with individuals outside the federal government.
In an undated non-disclosure agreement obtained by Defense News, the administration tells defense officials that “strict confidentiality” must be practiced to ensure a “successful” and “proper” 2010 defense budget process.
I wonder what he’s afraid they’ll talk about.
You know, I don’t recall President Bush forcing an entire Department of the Federal government to sign a gag order while he was allegedly busy shredding the Constitution. You’d think thought he would have done that first, just to make his job easier.
