President Obama to Unveil Job-Killing, Success-Punishing Budget
Having hit economic rock bottom, the Obama administration has broken out its shovels.
President Obama is putting the finishing touches on an ambitious first budget that seeks to cut the federal deficit in half over the next four years, primarily by raising taxes on businesses and the wealthy and by slashing spending on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, administration officials said.
So, in a time when we’re struggling to create jobs, the President is going to tax the life out of the very people who create jobs. Yeah, that’s a smart move. Just how many jobs do you think the average small businessman (who are most of those dreaded “rich” our President believes needs to be punished for their hard work) is going to create while he’s busy sheltering the money he makes from our greedy and corrupt politicians? Common sense alone should give you a big honking clue.
And if that wasn’t bad enough, he’s going to start slashing at the military, which is, right now, the only part of our Federal government that isn’t as dysfunctional than a Jerry Springer guest list.
Oh, but he sure has his priorities straight – kill job production, but crank up the march toward inferior nationalized health care.
The budget also puts in place the building blocks of what administration officials say will be a broad restructuring of the U.S. health system, an effort aimed at covering some of the estimated 46 million Americans who lack insurance while controlling costs and improving quality.
So if you happen to catch a cold sitting in the unemployment line, you can be sure that the Obama administration is doing its best to make sure that you’ll sit in a line at your doctor’s office, too.
But, hey, at least his pet activist groups and campaign donors got theirs, so that’s okay, right?
Marvelous.

Get real! The Republican/conservative party has destroyed the economy, the middle class, the environment and our international reputation! This land is not JUST for wealthy people who make their money off the sweat of someone else's work! It is for the workers who create the wealth, that we have health care, preventice care, not just care if we get deathly ill. I have health insurance through the National Ass of Self Employed- I pay nearly $400 a month- no preventive care because I have high blood pressure that is easily controlled by one pill. I took a spill and had to be airlifted to a hospital – in Mexico that air ride would have been covered by the government – here, it cost $14,000 – and my insurance paid $1900! That is a crime against me and a rip off to the entire self employed community. I have no unemployment, no safety net whatsoever for this time when business in zero. I read encouraging articles for people to become entrepenuers but there is not help. Last year was the first in 22 years that I was not in the black- I had to borrow money to keep aflot, yet I got not one penny of the Bush stimulus- nothing, nada. I wish all of you yahoos who are still drinking the cool air and who are so greedy and selfish would spend a day in my shoes. I am hard working, talented,honest and patriotic- how about you?
