Another Day, Another Nominee with a Tax-Cheating Background
How many tax cheats is President Obama going to nominate, anyhow? I mean, is Zombie Al Capone coming next?
A Senate committee today abruptly canceled a session to consider President Obama’s nomination of Rep. Hilda Solis to be labor secretary in the wake of a report saying that her husband yesterday paid about $6,400 to settle tax liens against his business — including liens that had been outstanding for as long as 16 years.
Let me note that this news came out right in the middle of her confirmation hearing, which means that the vaunted Obama Vetting Machine failed to tell anyone about the monster lurking in Solis’ background.
Barack Obama is making Jimmy Carter look like Eisenhower right now. At some point, and I think it will be soon, the veils are going to lift from the eyes of many Obamamaniac and they’re going to get a good look at what they really got.
And then there will be hell to pay.
