America Says, “No Stimulus”. President Obama Replies, “Shut Up!”
You know, I never hear anyone but progressives use language like this.
These numbers that we are seeing are sending an unmistakable message and so are the American people. The time for talk is over. The time for action is now. Because we know if we do not act, a bad situation will become dramatically worse. Crisis could turn into catastrophe.
That’d be our President, by the way, still peddling the fiction that the American people want his stimulus plan. They do not. They want the Republican tax cut plan.
We’re near the end game and President Obama knows that he’s increasingly on the losing side. America wants real change in the way our money is spent and he represents the old and busted Democratic big-spending, vote-buying ways.
That is why he wants no more talking. That’s why his speeches sound more and more desperate. Honest debate is poison to his plan.
America is speaking. Barack Obama needs to listen instead of demanding that we shut up.
