Republicans Find their Courage, Unanimously Vote Against the Democratic Vote-Buying Bill
Well, Democrats, it’s your economy now.
The House passed the pork-laden corruption-fest that we know as the stimulus bill 244-188. Not one Republican voted for the bill and 12 Democrats crossed the aisle to vote it down.
Nancy Pelosi and President Obama have very deliberately put down their marker. They want to saddle you and your children with debt you do not want in order to shovel your money into their pet social engineering projects and the pockets of the campaign donors, lobbyists, and radical activist groups they’ll need to get re-elected in 2010 and 2012.
Now the bill goes to the Senate for final approval. That vote probably won’t happen until mid-February. Let us hope that Senate Republicans can summon the same courage to stand up for you that House Republicans did today.
UPDATE: Michelle Malkin says, “Own it. Embrace it. Swallow it. The House version of the $1.1 trillion Generational Theft Act of 2009 is all the Democrats’ doing now.”
UPDATE 2: I’m guessing that the MSM will not be cheering the bipartisan opposition nor condemning the partican politics that approved the bill.

Remember how it was always Bush's fault when Democrats wouldn't follow his lead on legislation? So is Obama a divisive, partisan or what?

Republicans don't have a heart, while Democrats don't have a brain. Well the Democrats have shown that they do have a brain(which they sit on).
