I Offer My Blogging Friend a Larf.

| January 22, 2009 | Comments (3)

For my friend Ron Coleman, who just took a beat-down in court that, so far as I can see, he should never have taken, something to bring some small amount of cheer.

Ron’s also right to say that a small businessman has the deck stacked against him in a big way. We have our government to thank for that entirely. We need to fix that if we’re ever going to get our economic feet firmly underneath us again.

    Thanks for the larf, Jimmie!

I don't need cheering up, really, though my clients do. I am gravely disappointed and, yes, saddened for their sake, but I know I gave them my best. I wish I could say the same for every aspect of the system that was implicated in this verdict, however.

I would be terribly disillusioned right now in your shoes, but I don't have nearly as much experience as you do with stuff like this. Is there a fix for what happened or is it something we just have to live with?
