If Warren can give Obama a chance, maybe those who hate have a chance too. But who do we hate? I don't hate anyone, but I'm a freak. But maybe we just don't hate any people. Maybe we just don't hate, and try to work with people. But you still want to know who I'm criticizing, don't you? You can't figure out whether you can agree or disagree, can you? You need a feed about which party I'm in? I'll give you a secret: none. Whatever, a lot of people just want science to be science. And religion to be religion. Maybe we can get there. Warren can help, in his own ironic way. There's no point in a gotcha question, because all you'll get is the Bible, and you can just read that. But give him the rope, he won't hang himself, he'll just be stupid. But in his business, that won't hurt him at all.

That said, I just listened to the repeat of Warren's speech, and it was good. Edsels are worth good money these days. And it was good car for it's day. It just didn't have the marketing that Republicans rely upon so so much. It's the perfect explanation about why the Democratic Party failed for so much time. We lacked the marketing. But we have it now. As the Republicans have proved for so many years, marketing is what works. But we all know that. Republicans tried to say they supported the Christian lunatics, but they never did it, did they? The Democrats say they support unions, but they haven't done it either. The only way to success is going to the middle. That's where the votes are. And there's a reason for that. People in the middle just want performance, not ideology.
Your ideology problems are very real. You want to impose ideology in everything, just like every secret service of every freak dictator. What would be nice is to see some responsible policies that work. Some of those will seem liberal, and some will seem conservative. So what? If policies work, they should be continued, if they don't, get rid of them. We'll start with Abstinence Education. But AE is such a beautiful low hanging fruit, you just have to pick it. Any program that spends lots of money and produces either zero results or negative results should be ended. Not a lot of money, but money that is surely wasted. And let's really talk about military spending. I know you can't get anything before Congress without someone being paid. I'm crazy, but I'm not crazy enough to believe that anyone but Johnson could pull that off. Then again, I've seen pictures of Obama giving Lieberman the Johnson Treatment. Maybe Obama can be a Johnson, for good or evil. There's no reason to twist arms about Christian Welfare, but no matter how little money it is, it should be ended for the lack of scientific backup. There's some environmental and military programs that should face the same fate. It would take the entire four years to say it all, so let's just say that.

"Second, I can’t help but think that today we’re swearing in a shiny new Edsel."

Edsels are worth good money these days.
