If you’re a conservative, there’s not a lot of inaugural fun to be had out there. Seriously, who wants to drink from the same punch bowl of Kool Aid after the left’s been slobbering all over it?
On the other hand, the women at Smart Girl Politics are gearing up for a whale of a good time, and it’s something I know you’ve never seen before. The First Annual Twitter Ball is going to kick off tomorrow night at 9 PM and it’s going to be one heck of a gathering. There will be conservative celebs, plenty of good company, great conversation, music, and prizes.
And if that’s not enough to pique your interest, I’ll be co-hosting a room at the Ball as well. I’ll be in the main room, which will also feature a discussion about youth and conversatism (what? I’m young-ish — Shut up!).
Details for getting involved are here. You will need a Twitter account to join in the fun, but they’re free and signup takes a minute or two. You can also hear more about Twitterball from one of the organizers (and the founder of Smart Girl Politics) Teri Christoph on Joel Gaines’ No Pundit Intended Radio show (scroll down to the January 18th episode).

I just signed up for a twitter account yesterday. I still can’t figure out the point…lol. But I will look into it more….I need something to escape the all Obama-love all the time.
I saw that! Later in the week I’m going to write up a little post on Twitter for the non-Twitterers. It’s going to be short on “how to use it” and longer on “why to use it”.
LOL…thanks, that would be helpful. Because I could post what I am doing on there but anybody reading it would be bored to tears. (Hey, I did make lime sherbet in my ice cream maker last night!) But in order to see the tweets of people who actually have interesting things to say, I had to sign up.
