Six days from being sworn in, Barack Obama surprised that the crack vetting staff he thought he hired are really Moe, Larry, and Curly. How else to explain the the scary monsters that keep lumbering out of his nominees’ closets every few days?
The latest Obama Drama involves his nominee for Secretary of the Treasury, Timothy Geithner who completely forgot to pay his taxes for a few years. He eventually made good on what he owed but you do have to wonder how he’ll handle trillions of dollars if he couldn’t handle the six figures he was making.
If that wasn’t bad enough, though, Michelle Malkin got the scoop that Geithner’s little oopsie moment might not have been entirely innocent. Not only did he not pay his taxes, but he pocketed the money his employer paid him to compensate him for the taxes he was supposed to have paid. That moves his little “goofs” from the land of accidental oversight into the more squalid neighborhood of fraud. Or at the very least, extreme ignorance.
Here’s what really baffles me. Geithner and the rest of Obama’s nominees were supposed to have filled out a gazillion-page questionnaire that should have caught stuff like this. What happened this time? Which stooge is the Obamessiah going to blame this time?

He’ll sail through because most of the repubs have lost any shred of integrity they may have had. And of course the dems never had any to begin with.
