MINNEAPOLIS, Minnesota (CNN) — A state election board on Monday will announce Democrat Al Franken has defeated Republican incumbent Norm Coleman in Minnesota’s U.S. Senate race, state officials told CNN Sunday.
The canvassing board on Monday will say a recount determined Franken won by 225 votes, Secretary of State Mark Ritchie told CNN.
That would be, by the way, the Mark Ritchie that is a close buddy of the professional fraudsters known as ACORN who was elected to office with a big helping hand from George Soros.
So you just know everything was above board and even-handed.
If the GOP isn’t wide awake right now, it ought to be. There is no way that Al Franken, who is a fifth-rate intelligence and was so miserably bad on the radio that not even millions of pumped-in bucks could keep Air America afloat, would have gotten within ten points of Norm Coleman with a competent RNC. Now, Democrats have 59 Senators, plus a handful of Republican Senators (including John McCain) who will stand with the progressives about half the time.
Says Ace, “We officially got our asses kicked”. Yeah, that’s about the size of it.
Now, how will conservatives respond? After the throwing up a little in our mouths at the thought of Al Franken being able to craft national policy, that is.

I don’t think they are even still. They stood by & watched all of the ACORN stuff and similar shenanigans go on for years & never did anything about it when they had a chance. Only a handful of states that require picture ID to vote….so many missed opportunities that could have cleaned up this third world voting system that we have.
