We Are Experiencing Technical Difficulties
And they are quite beyond my control, or know-how. Right now, the blog isn’t showing more than the featured post. There’s some sort of memory cap that I’ve hit and I’ve had to disable all the plugins in order to get to a screen where I can even post this. I’ve sent a note to Noble Riika, my hosting angel, and, with luck, she’ll be able to make heads or tails of things.
You’ll know it’s fixed when everything looks normal.
UPDATE: The problem appears to be with the theme I’ve been using. I don’t know what the problem is, but I’m going to use this backup theme for the time-being. At least you can read all the posts.
UPDATE 2: Okay, I think (maybe) I know the problem. I’m trying to load too many plugins. Problem is, I load exactly the plugins I want/need to load to run the site as best I can. I don’t know which ones I can afford to drop at this point. But at least the old template is back in effect, so that’s something. And the spam filter is loaded, too, which is good.
UPDATE 3: I think this is as good as I can get it for tonight. I’ll work on it more tomorrow, as opportunities present themselves. Hopefully I’ll have a solution figured by then. At least everything works (I hope!).
