Forget the Birth Certificate, Get the Campaign Donor Records
Can we finally put the Obama Birth Certificate thing to rest now?
The Supreme Court has turned down an emergency appeal from a New Jersey man who says President-elect Barack Obama is ineligible to be president because he was a British subject at birth.
The court did not comment on its order Monday rejecting the call by Leo Donofrio of East Brunswick, N.J., to intervene in the presidential election. Donofrio says that since Obama had dual nationality at birth — his mother was American and his Kenyan father at the time was a British subject — he cannot possibly be a “natural born citizen,” one of the requirements the Constitution lists for eligibility to be president.
If Mr. Donofrio really wanted to get P-E Obama to release some records, he should sue to have the campaign release their full and unedited list of campaign donations, especially those who gave less than 200 dollars. Given that the campaign disabled the most basic security feature, the list should prove quite interesting. I’d be very interested in seeing the donations from such famous names as John Galt, Saddam Hussein, and Adolfe Hitler. Producing such a report is child’s play – a press of a button – and John McCain, the guy who is allegedly so technologically primitive that he doesn’t know how to use e-mail, had no problem doing it.
So why can’t Barack Obama release his records? Surely that would be the hopefully changeriffic thing to do.

Only Obama can put it to rest; and I don't see that happening too soon seeing how he already made a trip back "home" once to have it sealed. So his efforts to counter this simple request are what's fueling the "conspiracy theories". He & his team are, in fact, conspiring to avoid having to produce proof that he is legally elligible to be President. It is his fault this is going to continue to fester.
If in fact he is not a "natural born" citizen, then it was just his first step in shredding the Constitution. More to come, I fear. It's not that he didn't understand the specifics – he does. Which makes his actions deliberate.
How will you counter his efforts to destroy this country after he stacks the SC? How long do you think it will take before he does that? Think he'll wait until the 2010 elections?
I wonder. I'm inclined to think that they will have most elections fixed by then, and will win big.
I hope I'm totally wrong. I'll wear my tinfoil hat with warm feelings of happiness!
