Chris Matthews Exhausts Himself Not Praising Sarah Palin
Alleged journalist Chris Matthews narrowly averted collapsing on the set of Hardball tonight by not praising Sarah Palin. At the end of a grueling few seconds during which Matthews was forced to listen to guest Roger “Not the Good One” Simon note that Sarah Palin indeed has a personality, Matthews groaned that it was hard to “salute” her.
Fortunately, he did not actually salute her and so escaped difficulty. He did, however, say that people “cannot stand her” not once, but twice. There was no indication that venting his spite provided any salutary effect.
