Charles Bronson, Burt Reynolds, and The Shack!
Well, this is certainly interesting. According to the Typealyzer, by blogging type is Mechanic (or, for you Myers-Briggs aficionados, the ISTP). That puts me in the same room as Jules Crittenden and Gateway Pundit, writes Jules. Ace is a mechanic, too. Such good company!
Here’s what the site says about Mechanics. I’ll leave it to you all to decide if that seems to fit me or not.
The independent and problem-solving type. They are especially attuned to the demands of the moment are masters of responding to challenges that arise spontaneously. They generally prefer to think things out for themselves and often avoid inter-personal conflicts.
The Mechanics enjoy working together with other independent and highly skilled people and often like seek fun and action both in their work and personal life. They enjoy adventure and risk such as in driving race cars or working as policemen and firefighters.
Good on his feet. Independent. A thinker. A lover and not a fighter. Sounds good!
I’m not sure about that whole enjoying adventure and risk thing, though. I’m one of the more risk-averse people I know. I like my comfy cave, thank you very much. I also included a graphic from the site showing what parts of my brain kick in when I write here. Those who know me will get a good laugh at the very idea that all that logic and practicality is going on.
What I find interesting about the results, though, is that when I’ve taken similar tests, I only end up with half of the ISTP type. I’ll let you guess which two.
