Mr. Tapper Goes to Washington
Maybe the MSM isn’t completely dead after all.
ABC named Jake Tapper to be their Chief White House Correspondent. He’s been doing excellent work covering the campaigns and has been one of the very few big-time journalists who has resisted the Obama Leg-Thrill. Tapper has been fair and as objective as you could ask of any human being. He’s also a pretty fair writer and I’ve found him to be a pretty enjoyable read, even when he’s writing on relatively tedious subjects.
It’s a great choice for ABC. Jake deserves congratulations for getting the spot and his bosses deserve some, too.
