Russian President and Putin-pawn Dmitri Medvedev has announced he’ll deploy nuclear missiles near Poland in response to our agreement with the Poles to employ a missile defense shield there. The missiles will likely be located between Poland and Lithuania, both new US allies who have been growing closer to us while growing farther away from their hated former oppressors.
So is this the first test for our new, entirely-untested President? It seems that Russia is going to be the first to the mound to see if our rookie can hit a big-league fastball. I hope the batting practice he’s taken for most of his career is enough to give him a major-league swing.
