How Long Before CNN’s Drew Griffin is Called a Racist?
If Drew Griffin keeps up his reporting on ACORN and its connections to the Obama campaign, he’s going to find himself dumping wastepaper baskets at CNN Central. From the looks of things, if his stories get picked up by another MSM outlet and start getting play beyond CNN, he’s going to find himself one of the “inciters” of “racial hatred”.
The amazing thing is that he’s the only MSM reporter anywhere close to working on this story. No one else wants to get within a hundred miles of it even though this is the kind of story that could make put a journalist on the national map in a really big way. It’s the kind of story that, if dug into hard enough and pushed into another outlet or two, could put someone in Woodward and Bernstein territory. Apaprently, though, our journalists would much rather just read the progressive talking points and keep their reputations untrashed by the Democratic machine. Griffin’s doing all the work, and some very good work it is.

And Ed Morrissey brings us another report from this morning, wherein Griffin pretty much calls the ACORN representative in Philly an out and out liar and shuts down Kiran Chetry when she tries to do a little covering for the group.

I think that tonight we need to hear a bit about the 800 large that Barack Obama’s campaign gave to an ACORN front company. I think that John McCain’s can summon up enough good, old-fashioned sarcasm to make the Obamessiah look a fool.
