Besides...why would he have to suspend the campaign to focus on another issue? I&#039;m afraid the presidency is going to require more multi-tasking than that. And what does suspending ads have to do with it? Ads run with no effort on McCain&#039;s personal part. And it&#039;s not an economic issue because they&#039;re already paid for.
Not to mention the fact that the argument is lame anyway being that it is so close to November 4th. As president, either candidate could be a hell of a lot more effective in tackling this issue than they could ever be in the Senate. So not giving THAT your all will ultimately render you less effective than &#039;suspending your campaign&#039; for a few days to &#039;work on the problem.&#039;
Even if that were not true, McCain isn&#039;t suspending his campaign. Please believe there are still buttloads of people and buttloads of dollars at work for McCain 2008 as we speak. It&#039;s just a way for him to get press and appear like he cares/matters more than he does. Lame political tactic.
