2 Oz of Rum
Juice of 2 lemons
Mix in a 16 ounce glass/cup.  Fill with water as hot as you can stand.  Finish drinking and go to bed.
My husband swears by them.  I find them too strong.  I&#039;m not sure if they really cure anything or just make you not care any more.  However, bearing in mind that this is an old timey traditional thing, the lemon might have provided Vitamin C that could have been somewhat lacking in the normal New England diet.  Sort of on the idea of why naval sailors are called &quot;limeys&quot;...
