This is an absolutely beautiful interview. Fox News’ Megyn Kelley interviews some hapless schmuck trying to defend Us magazine’s hit job on Sarah Palin and family. She catches him in one outright lie and makes him stutter worse than Mel Tillis’ and Porky Pig’s love child.
His best line came when Kelly asked him why the article didn’t note a few rather large details about the supposed “Troopergate” story: “We didn’t have time to get into everything you mentioned”. No, of course they didn’t. Smear stories have to get out while they’re hot. Real journalism takes time and integrity. This bozo obviously didn’t have nearly enough of either one.
Allah says it wasn’t an interview so much as a cross-examination. He’s right and it was beautiful.

I actually start to squirm when Megan tears people up like that. I have to turn away. I’m amazed sometimes that they even get people to come on her show.
The overall story may be fair (I doubt it, but I have not read it), but the point of the interview is the misleading front cover.
Mr Jacobs deserves getting his a$$ handed to him by Megyn. She was brilliant. Too bad there are not more real journalists that are willing to ask the hard questions and punch thru the lies and exagerations that come from both extremes of the political spectrum.
If there were, I’d bet the political climate of the country would be far more unified and the fringes on both sides would be pigeon-holed as the lunatics they are.
I believe US Magazine will be looking for a new editor by next week!
As the editor was speaking I kept think of Jackie Gleason as Ralph Kramden – Hummana Hummana Hummana!
PRICELESS
Thank you Megan, I’m sick of the lies with no accountability, by our leaders, be it head of a magazine, or a politician, right down to the common American. I thought you were actually to kind to this guy. Had you been tougher on him, I’m sure he would have been a coward and ended the interview early. I wish these kind of people could be sued and ruined from business.
