I'm a USNA grad and ex nuclear submarine officer, and I take my hat off to John McCain for this inspired pick. If she and Sen. McCain can withstand the broadside from the haters, they have the potential to heal the country. Common sense and pragmatism vs dogma will hopefully win the day.
