A Gustav Prediction
With Hurricane Gustav predicted to strike New Orleans, I’m going to make a prediction.
If it happens, you will not see the death, chaos, and sheer incompetence from state officials that you did after Hurricane Katrina. That’s because the governor is Bobby Jindal and not Kathleen Blanco.
I’ll also predict that the MSM will contort themselves mightily to excuse the Democrat Blanco’s manifold failures and minimze any successes Jindal will produce.

Well, unfortunately this will give the drive-by's an opportunity to re-hash the entire Katrina event….their finest hour.
I mean how better to remind viewers of their supreme value but to re-tell the stories of the shootings and children being raped and bodies piled 20 deep in the basement of the arena on Bush's watch. They will probably take all the credit for the improvements themselves….
I would love to see someone do a 90-minute special on the irresponsible and dangerous news reporting that was done about Katrina. Spend 45 minutes on that (and yeah, we're including Shepherd Smith in that too. Katrina is why I stopped watching him) and then spend 45 minutes on Ray Nagin and Kathleen Blanco and their gross incompetence.
