Labor Unions to Members: Vote for Obama, You Racist

Are the labor unions in the pocket of the Democratic Party? Well, you tell me. Union bosses are spreading the word that their members are a bunch of racists whose hatred for black people has to be “overcome”.
Nice job, guys. That ought to help your flagging membership and increasing irrelevance.
Remember the days when labor unions were simply a bunch of employees who organized to strengthen their negotiating power with employers?
Those were the days. Nowadays, labor unions are strictly political entities that suck the lifeblood from companies (and hurt workers in the process – ask an auto worker how much it costs to make a car in the US thanks to union-demanded concessions), to enrich the bigwigs inside the union, and to fill the coffers of Democratic politicians. That’s why union membership has been falling like a pregnant pole vaulter in the past few years.

Unions do not hurt workers. Unions are not racist. Unions fight for fair wages to combat one of the many Republican sore spots – the weak economy. How do I know this? I’m a well informed democrat union member. Keep lying though, I’m sure Fox News will be calling you soon to offer a job.

Guys, ask the workers getting laid off by American car companies if unions hurt workers. Decades of incredibly generous retirement packages mean that every car that rolls off a GM plant costs thousands of dollars more than an identical car made by a Japanese company.
But whatever lines your pockets, right?

My friend belongs to a Union, he is a HARD working person.
He is NON-BIAST, believes doing right and is an upstanding Citizen.

Michelle, I don’t think you read the post… Jimmie’s claim is that union _leaders_ are calling their members racists; I read nothing but praise for the union workers. So if you want to defend the character of the rank and file, you’re preaching to the choir.
If you believe that electing Sen. Obama to the presidency would help the union membership–which I gather is what you’re trying to say–you could maybe mention what makes you think so. Merely exhorting all union members to vote Obama/Biden kind of gives the impression that you don’t expect union workers to ponder political decisions, they should just vote the way you tell them to….

Didn’t Obama support a bill that would have eliminated secret ballots? So in other words, would have provided union thugs with a list of names of the folks who need their legs broken; maybe their tires slashed or their house fire-bombed?
I mean seriously you Obama supporters….is there any other reason to force people into a public vote other than to be informed of who has voted against you and/or the unions you support (who give you lots of money, which is forcibly collected from the paychecks of those who were afraid to publicly vote against you)?

Unions is nothing but an excuse for worthless lazy people to keep a job that wants to get paid for doing nothing,furthermore it’s a crying shame that union people pay good money for somebody else to do the talking for them, Id rather put that money in my pocket, you need to man up and speak for yourself. The only people making money is the union boss that you pay out of your check so you can’t get fired because your lazy .And I am informed.
