Although I am a faithful viewer of Fox News aka Faux News, they seem to be the only news network that will cover both sides, but even at that, their "journalists" and "anchors" throw in their ideology whenever they can. Just watch Shep Smith during his coverage of Katrina. Why can't they just report the damn news and leave the commentary to the pundits? I gave up on NBC, CBS and ABC years ago. The bias there is sickening. But to a lib mind, it all makes perfect sense. So what do we do? What can we do? Perhaps what the Chinese have learned is that the media can be bought, and if you're a tyrant, NBC will give you a cut rate. Communists everywhere were probably listening to him & thinking, dang, we have to threaten our own reporters to get the kind of lavish, fawning coverage NBC offers. There were several comments through the opening ceremony that nearly made me gag. How sad for the Chinese people to know that their tormentors were treated with so much respect by a NON-Government run media, from a free country, that doesn't have to fear for their lives for reporting the truth.
