Apparently, He Never Played “The Dozens”
The good news is that, today, Barack Obama’s campaign isn’t calling John McCain a racist. That’s a mini flip-flop in itself, but since he’s rowing back from his ridiculous assertion, I’ll give him a pass. The bad news is that he’s descended even farther into cluelessness.
ORLANDO, Florida (Reuters) – Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama said on Saturday that Republican rival John McCain’s campaign has been cynical, not racist, in trying to raise fears about his candidacy.
Obama said McCain’s campaign team was “very good at negative campaigning” and was using his relative inexperience, atypical biography and his race to try to stir up doubts about him.
I say that Obama’s campaign is clueless because Johnny Mac’s last three campaign commercials (including the most recent jab called “The One”) aren’t serious commercials at all. Anyone who spent any time in a schoolyard as a kid recognizes them. They’re taunts. John McCain is cracking hard on Barack Obama and inviting us all to laugh.
At this point, it doesn’t look to me like Barack Obama recognizes that he’s smack in the middle of a game of Dirty Dozens. Either that or he’s so bad at the game that the best he can come up with is a feeble “Oh yeah? Well…you’re mean!”.
I’m amazed that McCain’s been the one to master the viral video form so far. I’m even more amazed that’s he’s shown an Honest-to-God sense of humor. I don’t expect the ego-puncturing to go on much longer but as long as it’s working (and it most certainly is working), I think we’ll see a couple more videos on YouTube before the month is out.

Obama continues to prove that he is one of the most munorless candidates to ever run for public office. It's almost sad.
Sorry, that should say 'humorless' not 'munorless'. I think I belched right there.
Who knows? He may not have any munor either.
