So Long, Jeff, and Thanks for All the Armadillos

Jeff Goldstein, who has been one of my favorite bloggers since nearly the first day I discovered blogs, looks to be packing it in for a good, long while. There’s some question about whether the formidable stable of guest bloggers he has there will keep the site running. I hope they do. The blogosphere’s overall Craptastic Quotient would increase measurably without protein wisdom.
I wish him nothing but the best and I sincerely hope that one day, sooner than we all expect, he concerns that have led him to this decision lighten up and allow him the time and inspiration to return to the blogosphere.
That or some conservative moneybags needs to get the hell up off of his wallet and hire Goldstein to write full-time. The left has George Soros and a horde of other rich white guys who seem to be able to bankroll every two-bit hack progressive writer on the planet. Surely there has to be someone out there with a money bin and a love of amazingly skillful writing who can tempt him with some paying green.
If there isn’t, well, then conservatism has itself a real big problem.

yeah, jim, now you'll have to figure out whom to hate on your own. At least, until Goldstein comes back in two weeks (like always) and institutes a fund raiser.
Until then, remember to hater the guys and gals on the "left" and, especially, beware of anyone who says we should be nice to each other (you really have to hate them).
Wow, I just summed up Goldstein's entire worldview in less than the 10,000 words it normally takes him to do it.
