At some point the guy had to stop shilling for the Islamists and remember his decency. Assuming he had any. It could be that the whole reason he's working for the AP is that he's an Islamist himself. I honestly don't know.

Would you have hoped the AP guy had interrupted them? Turned off the camera? Preferred they’d censored it?

Not answering for Jimmie but yes, that is what I wished had happened. Or at the very least, AP should now fire him. Let the Islamists video their own murders. They seem to be equipped most of the time to do just that.

The problem with video like this is on the one hand, it does show US what evil these people are capable of. But I don't think that really means a lot any more. Some people see evil for what it is, then still others here in the US make excuses for it. So the real damage being done is the footage will be used to terrorize the people in Afghanistan who otherwise would not cooperate with the Taliban. So the AP is basically helping the Taliban; and no one else.
