Imagine someone had written a fiction book about Michelle Obama or Hillary Clinton that mirrored closely their own life stories. Instead of being biographical, though, some of the details of the character’s life were different than Michelle or Hillary’s. For instance, let’s say that they were in a horrible car accident as a teenager where they were driving the car that killed the star athlete on whom they had a very strong crush. Now, let’s take that circumstance and change it around so that it happend a little earlier, the character then slept with the dead crush’s brother, and went and had an illegal abortion later.
Imagine also that the book was full of graphic sex, demeaning depictions of her husband’s maturity and physical attributes, and a scene where the character walks in on her grandmother locking lips with another woman.
Just how incensed do you think the left would be? How many thundering denunciations of what would be correctly called a degrading and horrid pornographic insult would we have heard in just a few hours after the details in the book came out? How quickly would womens’ groups have rushed to the microphones to vilify the author and demand that the book be removed from stores?
Hold on to your hats folks. That book exists, but it’s not about Hillary Clinton or Michelle Obama.
There is such a book but it’s about Laura Bush.
Surprised? Not me. No one close to this President is beyond degredation so far as the left is concerned.

Just remember, as you hear little else but fawning admiration for this snide piece of barely-concealed misogyny from the bobble-heads in the MSM, that had it been any Democrat woman so smeared, the anger would have rivaled the heart of the sun for intensity. Hell, had it been any other woman than Laura Bush, who had done nothing whatsoever to draw such wicked attention, there would have been hell to pay. Represenatiaves from NOW or that woolbrained Naomi Wolf would be on CNN or MS-NBC right this very minute talking about misogyny and how the right just can’t tolerate a strong woman. I swear, the left and their unhinged insane hatred for all things Bush makes me absolutely sick to my stomach. There is nothing so disgusting that they won’t do it just to show how much they hate Chimpy McBushHitlerBurton. No one is off-limits, not even one of the most elegant, gentle women ever to inhabit the White House.
I swear, the first person I read who has something glowing to say about this book is going to get their asses handed to them right here on The Shack. I’ve had it with garbage like this.
