In a reference to Barack and Michelle Obama’s celebratory fist bump on Tuesday, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-California, and Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Texas, ended their conversation on CNN’s Late Edition with their own version of the “hand shake.”
CNN says the “Obama ‘fist bump’ is catching on”.
Really.
Apparently I and the other guys I’ve seen doing fist-bumps for the past few years are prophets, spreading an inferior likeness of the One True Bump that would be revealed by the Obamessiah. Now that the OTB has been revealed, is can be revealed that it is His glorious creation and that he has come to Earth to reclaim it for Change and Hope.
Thus sayeth the MSM, Herald of the Chosen One.
So, allow me, as a duly-appointed prophet of the One True Bump (or, if you like, the Knuckle Pound of Change), to introduce you to the man who has been keeping us on the bumping tip until the arrival of the Obamessiah.
Awwwwwwww yeah!
(Well, look. It’s either this or CNN’s going to have to admit that it has no freaking idea what a fist-bump is. No one can possibly be that out of the pop culture loop).
