Red Wine. Is There Anything It Can Not Do?
In 1 Timothy 5:23, Paul advised Timothy, “Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities”. It seems he might have been on to something.
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – A natural compound found in red wine may protect the heart against the effects of the aging process, researchers said on Tuesday.
Red wine contains an ingredient called resveratrol that apparently did the same thing for the heart that a “calorie restriction diet” did to block the decline in the function of the heart that usually accompanies getting older. It sure seems like red wine, in moderation, has a plethora of good effects on our health. That’s certainly good news for me because I like red wine.

Blood of the Lamb!
Just how red does it have to be to get all these wonderful effects? I like Red Rose….is that red enough, or do we have to go all the way to Burgundy, chianti, cabernet sauvignon etc?
I think a blush might be enough to get what you need. I'm not sure about that, though.
