Luckily, I Don’t Have Neighbors Right Now.
My brother gave me an eBay gift card (those things are handy!) for my birthday last month and I didn’t spend it right away because I really wasn’t sure what I wanted. Finally, though, I found something I had wanted for a long while, but had never really gotten around to buying.
I am now the proud owner of a teak-wood didgeridoo.
Those of you who know me well will know that I love music and musical instruments. I’d have a house full of them if I could. I already own a saxophone and a clarinet, a bamboo flute, a tin whistle, and now a didgeridoo. I figure if I play all of them really well, I could make one hell of a quirky band.
Now I need to get a bass guitar. Down the road I might just make enough to get that baritone sax I’ve wanted since I was in high school, too. For now, though, it’s didg time!
After the jump, more photos of my new acquisition.

I don't even know what that is….LOL
So are you going to post a video of you playing it? Or at least the audio of what it sounds like?
It's an Australian musical instrument. The sounds is kind of like a buzzing drone. You've heard it, I'm sure, but probably didn't know what was making the noise.
As soon as I figure out how to play it, I'll probably do a picture or two. I don't raelly have a ready capability to do a video and post it, unfortunately.
Well here you go….a guy on youtube giving lessons:

No shortage of pros on there playing either.
That's cool as hell. Good luck, I've heard those things are hard to play.
By the way, if you need are guitarist for your band I play a mean Guitar Hero.
