I'd prefer her presidency for the same reason....at least we could fight her policies. And the reality is, of the 3 candidates, she is the one who strikes me as even capable of "hearing" any opposition. Both McCain & Obama are completely deaf....they are both know-it-alls.
And Hill would feel compelled to show how tough she is....and she could start by obliterating Iran.
McCain isn't going to appoint conservative judges. He will appoint moderates, who will turn liberal in short order...or who will appoint current liberals out of "fairness & bipartisanship of his esteemed Democrat colleagues". This would be normal behavior for McCain; it is his nature. I don't how he's managed to hoodwink so many Republicans into believing this crap about judges...McCain does not like conservative voters, nor conservative politicians. But he's going to appoint conservative judges....yeah, right.

I'm still praying for Hillary to pull through. Tell me exactly how we're going to go down to defeat in Iraq, given that Barak Obama's already refused to pledge to bring the troops home in 2013 and his former national security guru said that his best case was that he could bring them home in 16 months.
You do know there's a drawdown planned by General Petraeus earler than 16 months, right? Or that the current plan is to have all or most provinces entirely in Iraqi control in 2009?
As for justices, I guess the Gang of 14 made you forget that the opposition party can do a great job of obstructing nominees. If you don't believe me, check out how many of the current President's nominees were confirmed even with the GoF.
Well, as it stands, the biggest expansion of the Federal government since LBJ belongs to George W. Bush. You think that John McCain who has not rallied support for a single Bush veto, who has not brought his Senate friends along for an earmark moratorium, and who has not sponsored a single piece of legislation to shrink the size of government in ten years is going to do better? You really think so?
Dream on.

Nonsense, Roy.

At least you didn’t dirty your hands by pulling the lever for McCain, right?

Defeat in Iraq. Justices like Ginsburg instead of Roberts.
