Can You Crack the Code?
About a year ago, the Fermilab’s Public Affairs office got a strange letter. The letter sat in the office for about a year until, finally, the Fermilab put the word out for help to decipher and perhaps even solve the full mystery behind the letter.
As they do, the geeks came through with flying colors. It’s a neat story and the mystery is still not fully solved. I think that the geek squad hasn’t decoded the middle section of the letter correctly. I think they considered a word in one of the solutions as misspelled that seems to me to be spelled that way on purpose. And I don’t think they’ve fully considered the the reason a certain person was named in the first section. The puzzle might could use a few sets of fresh eyes, if you’re inclined toward such a thing.
I really like mysteries like this (and even bigger things like this). I hope that Fermilab is keeping the lines of communication wide open and will let us know as they find out more.

Thanks for turning me on to this, Jimmie. My productivity level just dropped to zero.
Sorry about that.
I'm holding out until I get home before really delving into it.
For what it's worth, I think the translations of the first and third parts are correct. That should give you a good head start. And the Fermilab folks are going to have to answer a question or two before the answer is fully known.
Oh, and nicely done with the hot tub!
