I honestly think that Democrats consider Evangelical Christians like one big voting bloc, much in the same way they think of blacks and women and gays. It doesn't seem to occur to them that there are many varieties of ECs and that we don't even think alike doctrinally, much less politically. It's almost like independent thought is alien to them. I know and I said the same thing about Haggard.
