For those of you out there who think that John McCain is a really, really for real conservative let me say, “Ho. Ho. Very Funny. Ha. Ha. It is to laugh”.
Se, you can’t actually be a conservative and cuddle up to La Raza at its national convention. No conservative can credibly be called such while attending a convention hosted by a group that wants to forcibly secede from the United States and foments violence.
Then again, McCain’s never been shy about being La Raza’s voice in Washington, as Michelle names him. He’s even been willing to blunt your First Amendment right to prevent anyone for daring to suggest that we enforce our incredibly generous immigration laws.
Meanwhile, Arianna Huffington, the Internet’s Own Political Flibbertigibbet, has broken the shocking news that neither Johnny Mac nor his wife voted for George Bush in 2000. This has caused the dam to break among bloggers. Glenn Reynolds testifies that he didn’t vote for Bush either. Neither did Allahpundit.
Neither did I. In fact, I left the Republican Party in 2000 largely because it left me with a choice between McCain and Bush. Huffington is not exactly dishing the dirt here. If that’s the best she has, she’s much better off letting the assorted puffed-up jackanapes handle the blogging on her site while she sits back and rakes in the cash.
