Obama: John McCain’s Better Than Bush! No, Wait! He’s the Same! Or Something! CHANGE! HOPE!
Is anyone actually writing Barack Obama’s speeches these days? I have to wonder, given what he said on the stump recently. Compare these two quotes from this AP article.
“You have a real choice in this election. Either Democrat would be better than John McCain,” Obama said to cheers from a rowdy crowd in central Pennsylvania. Then he said: “And all three of us would be better than George Bush.”
…
“We cannot afford a third George Bush term and that’s what John McCain is offering — a third Bush term,” Obama said, repeating a line he’s said at virtually every campaign stop since McCain wrapped up the GOP nomination last month.
But wait, Mr. Obamessiah, Your Eminence, Sir. You just said that John McCain would be better than George Bush. A “third George Bush term” is not “better” than George Bush. It’s exactly the freaking same.
So which one is it? Will John McCain be just like George Bush or will he be better? Or are you going to have to admit that you pretty much spend your time flinging platitudes into the crowd like strings of Mardi Gras beads and that you have no Earthly idea what you just said five minutes ago?
Or you could just lead the crowd in a few rousing verses of Hope and Change and pray to whatever God you worship that your buddies in the MSM have your back yet again.

What is really funny is that this is even a threat to the Dems. John McCain is the perfect candidate for Democrats…he really should be the Dem's nominee. And if the Dems had any sense at all or if they can ever be cured of their BDS, they would realize Bush has been a pretty darn good, warm-fuzzy, liberal president on like 90% of the issues Dems claim to care so much about….enough to have conservatives seeing red. Some days I don't even think the dems know what they stand for!
