You Be The Activist!

Imagine that you are one of the Global Warming Faithful – a High Priestess of the Church of Global Warming, if you will. You come across an article that demonstrates quite firmly that the globe hasn’t gotten warmer for almost a decade and that it’s not likely to do so this year either. Do you:

A) Carefully evaluate the facts contained in the article and place them in the context of our barely fifty years of accumulated knowledge about a climate system that operates in terms of centuries and millenniums as opposed to months and years.

or

B) Accuse the expert who reviewed the article of being “insufficiently educated”, “psychologically manipulated”, and an “unfit reporter” then threaten to send the contents of your e-mails to the expert to “others” who will republish the comments to make you “appear in an unfavourable light”.

Gosh. That’s a toughie.
