What’s Up with Mookie and Our MSM?
Does anyone in the MSM really know what’s happening with Moqtada al-Sadr these days? One day he’s offering with false magnanimity to disband his outlaw Iran-sponsored Mahdi Army if only the Shiites in Iraq will let him and the next he’s shaking his head in rueful acceptance of a decision that’s beyond him. The MSM is playing the story straight as if Mookie was actually serious about his offer and Iraqi leaders had some direct hand in anything he does.
He’s not and and they don’t. Nevertheless, that’s how it’s being reported. Maybe I’m picking at nits here, but that strikes me as an unusual eager acceptance of truth from people who are not known for telling the truth to the infidels.
More recently, Mookie announced then canceled an anti-American Million Man March in Baghdad while at the same time threatening to end the cease-fire that, in best Islamist fashion, never really worked as advertised. This, also, seems to earn relatively straight-ahead reporting with nary a question about why he’s doing things that directly contradict things he did a day or a week ago.
Nor does there seem to be any particular curiosity about why he’s taking his orders from Iran nor who is giving him those orders (and money, and equipment, and manpower).
Why is the MSM so incurious about Mookie’s oddities yet rapacious about reporting the non-Islamist casualties?

Shouldn't really strike you as odd….look at how they buy the crap from the stringers & all the faux-tography. Look at how they believe everything from a single, unvetted Iraqi reporter about the Haditha case but scarcely believe for a minute that there is even one guilty war criminal in GITMO.
They always believe our enemies. "Our" enemies are not the MSM's enemies – they are their friends; because they tell the MSM good bedtime stories about all the evil doings of the US military and BushCo. They like these kinds of fairy tales almost as much as they liked the story about the 3 evil/privileged/white college guys that brutally gang raped that poor, sweet black single mother who was just trying to earn money to feed her babies.
