When will it finally sink in that politicians are horrible judges of fairness? It’s this overwhelming need for some politicians to decide for us what is fair that drives so many nations right into the ditch.

Democracy is a marvelous system of government. When the politicians keep their grubby hands off of things, people usually figure out what’s fair and what works. When politicians meddle, two things happen: the government always gets bigger and people always end up with less of something very important to them.
