Lying About McCain, Part Whatever.
Zbigniew Brzezinski, was not only an astoundingly incompetent national security advisor but he’s proving a pretty rotten foreign policy guru also. Here’s how he opens the latest stinking pile of feces that he calls a column.
Both Democratic presidential candidates agree that the United States should end its combat mission in Iraq within 12 to 16 months of their possible inauguration. The Republican candidate has spoken of continuing the war, even for a hundred years, until “victory.”
No, he didn’t. Brzezinski is either lying or can not read. I’ll go with the former, considering that the Democrats are peddling the same fabrication to voters it hopes will not hear the actual quote or who want to nestle down comfortably in their own delusions.
It’s a shame, really. If Brzezinski could get his head out of the 1970s when all was peace and light and it was really easy to ignore the tens of millions of Arabs that his realpolitik consigned to the tender ministrations of a dozen or more tyrants, then he might have something useful to contribute to the conservation. As it is, he can’t even tell the truth about the present. There’s no chance he will tell the truth about the selfish failures of his past.
