It Won’t Be Long Now…
Today is one of the greatest days of the year, the day that tells us that if we can just hang on another few weeks, God and Abner Doubleday (or Alexander Cartwright, if you buy into that particular heresy) will reward us handsomely.
Today is the day that pitchers and catchers report to spring training in Florida and Arizona.
The only greater day in American sport is Opening Day. That’s just right around the corner.

Amen to that! I bought my Opening Day tickets yesterday. It's a yearly tradition in our household. We all take the day off to celebrate. Great blog too, by the way!!
